We want to share an incredible testimony with you that was sent to us from those we support in Tanzania!

Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with one village has spread to several other villages. The residents of one village were being opposed and tormented by demonic powers and witches. They couldn’t sleep at night, their children were being carried off by witch doctors at night and thrown outside the house. Their money could be stolen from them in a mysterious way.

The village residents decided to report the matter to the local government authorities. The government only sympathized with them but couldn’t not help them. However, they suggested to them to go and ask the pastor of our church (A Vision 2020 missionary) in the neighboring village to come and pray for them.

The pastor called a village assembly for prayer. Many people came. He began to pray and many people were set free from evil spirits and other sicknesses. The prayer meeting that was meant for a day extended to eight days—from evening to midnight. Almost the whole village was saved and delivered from demonic powers.

The people asked if the church could be started in their village. One person volunteered a plot of land to build a temporary church building. People brought timber and other building materials to have a church constructed. A church with over seventy people was started and the number is increasing every day. The attacks from the enemy and witchcraft stopped and people are now rejoicing and praising the Lord.

The nearby village who heard what happened to their neighbors also asked the pastor to go and pray with them. The people of that village assembled and a prayer meeting took seven days—evening to midnight. The results were phenomenal. One person gave out his house to be used as a church and over eighty people joined the church. The number is growing each day.
